vetiver : whole body salon
A safe place to receive healing and therapeutic bodywork,
A place to receive creative, results-driven treatments, performed by experienced therapists who enjoy their craft.
A place for learning, growing, teaching, and making art, poetry and all things creative.
With our gallery and retail space in front, we will bring art and wellness together in one space in addition to supporting local artisans. Keen on green, we plan on recycling and upcycling wherever possible, sharing our skills with the community, and giving back.
Vetiver makes a point to concentrate wholly on each client’s treatment plan.
We integrate a variety of massage modalities in both facial and bodywork treatments, while incorporating natural and eco-friendly products and services.
Welcome to Vetiver.
Tuesday & Barbie
Tuesday Cohen has spent over 20 years in the beauty/skincare industry. She became a licensed esthetician in 2010 and graduated from the San Francisco School of massage in 2015. Even before graduating, Tuesday’s years of study with industry masters brought her deep knowledge in all areas of skin care. She is a specialist in lymph and acupressure facial massage as well as acne and rosacea skin issues. Tuesday comes from a unique background which has served her well. As a child growing up in Hollywood, she was exposed to artist and maker communities from an early age. As a teenager, she sold her handmade “functional art” on the sidewalks of Los Angeles. Her success with this led to the formation of “Headless Designs”, a popular boutique with a vintage flair which she founded and managed throughout her twenties. A true “do-it-yourself” approach is part of Tuesday’s nature; she is known far and wide for her ability to bring creativity to everything she touches. Skin care is no exception. Tuesday is proud to have developed her own line of popular natural skin care products derived in part from plants grown in her very own garden. She is excited to bring this product line with her to Vetiver, along with her hand-made art items from Headless Designs. Tuesday’s independence and pioneering spirit make her uniquely suited for business ownership.
Barbie Santos is a licensed cosmetologist and certified massage therapist. With eight years of hair experience under her belt, she is a sought-after stylist with deva cut accreditation. She earned her cosmetology license in 2010 and did additional training at the Sassoon Academy in San Francisco. Barbie graduated with honors from National Holistic Institute’s 900-hour core program and was certified as a massage therapist in 2017. She specializes in a variety of massage modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Shiatsu.

Wil Hendricks - After years performing, recording and touring as a professional musician, Wil returned to the Bay Area in 2013 to pursue bodywork. A graduate of (and teaching assistant at) the San Francisco School of Massage, Wil studied with such bodywork pioneers as Art Riggs and Marty Morales to master multiple techniques and modalities including Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and Dynamic Stretching. Wil customizes each session to address the client's immediate and long-term goals, and facilitates wellness and mobilization through integrated, therapeutic myofascial release.
“Like many bodyworkers before me, I came to the massage world with my own personal history of back injury and sciatic pain. I turned towards practicing massage to promote my own healing and body awareness, and am now able to share my own experience and education to assist others in wellness maintenance and recovery from pain.”
Jennifer Kralowetz was born in the Bay Area and raised in Plymouth, Massachusetts, she has always appreciated dualities in life: East and West, tradition and innovation, and—later, studying Daoism and Anthropology at Boston University—yin and yang. She was struck by the notion that the laws of nature govern our bodies as well as the world, and moved by the simplicity with which this idea could assist such profound healing. At American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, she learned to find inner balance through natural medicine, and aspires to use these tools as a conduit for others in their own healing journeys. She is currently enrolled in a doctoral program at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. In her free time, she is seeking out new music and delicious food, biking around Oakland, drinking wine, and taking pictures of her cat or running from the geese at Lake Merritt.
We are proud to be carrying a wide variety of hand selected hair care, skincare, and body care products which will include Ilike organic skincare, Skin Script professional skincare, Vetiver skin and body care, along with DevaCurl and Davines hair care products.
