Marlene has more than 20 years in cosmetology, cutting and styling hair for clients around the United States and in her native Mexico. While her specialty is long and short haircuts for adults and children, she also has experience in haircolor and updos. She is empathetic and caring, listening and responding to client needs, particularly when it comes to making her clients feel as beautiful and confident as possible.

Nella Scott is an Oakland native and a licensed barber who graduated from Cinta Aveda Institute in 2024. As a young queer barber of color, their main priority is to ensure their clients leave the chair seeing themselves how they do on the inside and actualizing their self expression to the best of their ability.

They specialize in mostly short, masculine clipper/scissor cuts, but they are always open to experiment and step outside the box in order to achieve the desired result.

When they’re not cutting hair, Nella enjoys going to the movies, spending time in nature and being with friends and family.

Audrey is a licensed cosmetologist and hairstylist. She graduated from Empire Beauty School, Wyoming Valley in 2019. She then spent three years advancing her skills behind the chair, as well as attending Regis and Matrix classes in advanced color and cut techniques.

Akiko is a licensed nail technician originally from Kyoto, Japan. She moved to the United States in 2013 and has completed both Japanese nail technician coursework as well as graduated from cosmetology school in San Francisco in 2021.  

Akiko specializes in waterless, gentle nail care techniques that promote long-term nail health and strength. Through detailed and thoughtful nail art, she helps clients grow and maintain healthy natural nails while enjoying beautiful designs. She is committed to using high-quality, safe products that support strong, healthy nails and bring a little joy to everyday life.
